Luis Marchese, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Marchese has over 25 years' experience in the mining sector. Having spent the majority of his career with Anglo American, he held progressive positions including that of Country Manager, Senior Advisor to the CEO and General Manager of the Quellaveco and Michiquillay Projects in Peru. Quellaveco is a Copper porphyry project currently under construction.

Mr. Marchese's earlier operating experience includes service with Anglo American's Mantoverde and Mantos Blancos copper mines in Chile as well as Hudbay Mining & Smelting in Canada. Recently, he was a Director to Compañía Minera San Ignacio de Morococha S.A. and an Alternate Director to Compañía Minera Poderosa S.A.

He has served as President of Peru's Society of Mining, Oil and Energy (SNMPE) from 2017 to 2019. He is currently Director of CONFIEP and member of Advisory bodies for different industry and academy organizations.

Mr. Marchese holds a Master of Science degree in Mineral Economics from Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Catolica in Peru. He has completed an AMP from GIBS - University of Pretoria, and an ASMP delivered jointly by the University of Cambridge and the University of Queensland.

Ed Guimaraes, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Guimaraes has over 29 years of experience in the Mining business. He joined Sierra Metals as CFO in 2014. Before joining Sierra Metals, Mr. Guimaraes held progressive senior management positions with Aur Resources Inc. (Aur) between 1995 and 2007, ultimately serving as Executive Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In this position, Mr. Guimaraes was a member of the senior management team that executed the acquisition and integration of Aur by Teck Resources Ltd. in a takeover valued at $4.1 billion. Prior to working at Aur, Mr. Guimaraes worked in the Toronto mining group of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since 2007, Mr. Guimaraes has worked as a consultant in the resource industry and is currently a director of several publicly listed mining companies. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario.

Alonso Lujan, Vice President Exploration & General Manager, Dia Bras Mexicana

Mr. Lujan is a Geological and Mining Engineer with over 26 years international experience in mineral exploration with a positive track record for increasing companies' resources, output and company value. Mr. Lujan most recently spent 6 years with Mata-Trafigura as the General Manger having been promoted from Exploration and Operations Manager. While there he oversaw the discovery and commissioning of the Magdelana Project with potential for 50 million tonnes within 2 years and helped to double production as well as optimize and reduced costs. Prior to that he worked with Hochschild Mining for 5 years and Minas de Bacis SA de CV for 14 years where he helped to also increase resources, increase output and reduce costs.

Mike McAllister, Vice President, Investor Relations

Mr. McAllister is a mining specialized investor relations professional who joined the sector in June, 2010. He has worked for companies such as Avion Gold Corp., which was sold to Endeavour Mining, as well as with Savary Gold, Alder Resources and Black Iron in their Investor Relations and Corporate Development programs. Previously Mr. McAllister worked at BMO Capital Markets in the Investment Banking, Metals & Mining Group.

Americo Zuzunaga, CP (Geologist by Mining Engineer), Vice President, Corporate Planning

Over 30 years of international experience in mining operations, mine and business planning, engineering studies (PEA, PFS, FS), Project Management and optimizing development. Mr. Zuzunaga was most recently at BISA as a Technical Studies Manager and previously worked at BHP Billiton in successive planning roles. Previously he has been employed with Antamina, Yanacocha and Southern Peru Copper.

Augusto Chung, CP (Metallurgist), Vice President, Special Projects and Metallurgy

Over 34 years metallurgical and mine management experience with a positive track record for increasing companies' output and company value. Mr. Chung was most recently with Rio Alto Mining as the Vice President of Projects. Prior to that he worked with Milpo, Barrick and Antamina and Southern Peru Copper.

James León, General Manager, Yauricocha and Country Manager, Peru

Mr. James León is a Mining Engineer with more than 27 years of experience in mechanized mining operations. He has experience related to mining production and planning, mine design and expansion, cost estimation and control and has worked with Sierra Metals since August 2017 as Operations Manager in Mexico, leading the expansion and optimization of two underground mines. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. León worked with Buenaventura, where he held various positions until he was Regional Operations Manager and formed the team that launched two underground gold and silver mining projects of Antapite (2001) and Tambomayo (2017). He holds a Masters Degree in Strategic Business Administration (MBA) from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) as well as a degree from the Management Development Program (PDD) of the University of Piura.
